Stafford has been a television news writer, producer, and reporter in San Diego County for nearly two decades. She also serves as a correspondent for the syndicated lifestyle show California Life and for BroadwayWorld.com, and she hosts the annual Season Preview TV special  for Broadway/San Diego.

Throughout her career, she has interviewed many of Hollywood’s top actors, directors, producers, and musicians, including Ed Harris, Robin Williams, Helen Mirren, Burt Bacharach, Lea Salonga, and Jerry Bruckheimer. She has also interviewed  Tony Award winners, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Casey Nicholaw, and Paloma Young Frankie Valli.

Furthermore, she has won 5 Emmy Awards from the Pacific Southwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
