 Kasie Hunt is a well-known American political correspondent who works for CNN. Prior to that, she served as NBC News Capitol Hill correspondent where she covered Congress across all NBC News and MSNBC platforms. She was also the host of MSNBC’s “Way Too Early with Kasie Hunt and Kasie DC”.

Kasie Kicked off her career as an intern in the political Unit of NBC News. She was a Healthy policy Reporter for the national journals congress daily writing about the passage of the affordable care act. She joined the Associated Press in August 2011 and covered Mitt Romney’s 2012 campaign as a national political correspondent.

Hunt joined NBC News in January 2013 to cover Congress and politics as an off-air reporter and producer. She began making regular political reporting appearances on MSNBC, and in November 2014, she was promoted to a political correspondent. She contributed articles to msnbc.com and frequently appeared on MSNBC and Bloomberg shows like With All Due Respect, Hardball with Chris Matthews, and Morning Joe.

Hunt started hosting her own talk show on MSNBC in October 2017. Kasie DC aired in two distinct portions on Sundays at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. ET. On September 13, 2020, Kasie DC’s final episode aired.

Furthermore, On September 21, 2020, Hunt debuted as the host of the Way Too Early with Kasie Hunt reboot of the MSNBC discussion show. It broadcasted on weekday mornings between 5 and 6 a.m. ET. Hunt revealed her last day with the network would be July 16, 2021.

CNN revealed through Twitter on August 10, 2021, that Hunt would be the network’s first hiring for CNN+, a brand-new streaming service it would be creating. Hunt would then serve as the anchor of a brand-new program called The Source with Kasie Hunt.  Hunt would also function as the chief national affairs analyst, it was also revealed. The new Kasie Hunt series premiered on CNN+ on March 29, 2022.

It came to an end on April 22, 2022, the day after CNN+ announced its closure, which happened on April 28.
