Wersching made her acting debut in a guest role on the Star Trek: Enterprise television series. She then went on to guest star in episodes of Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural, and Cold Case. She also portrayed Amelia Joffe, a recurring character, on the ABC soap opera General Hospital from March to November 2007.  Furthermore, she performed in theaters like Marriott Lincolnshire, Victory Gardens, and the Utah Shakespearean Festival.

In the seventh and eighth seasons of 24, Wersching portrayed FBI Special Agent Renee Walker. Wersching also appeared as a guest star on a number of shows after her two-season run on 24, including CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli & Isles, Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries, and Touch.

In the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game, Wersching participated. Wersching served as Tess’ voice and motion capture actor in the PlayStation 3 exclusive video game The Last of Us, which was revealed in December 2012.

Before her identity was finally revealed in the story trailer aired on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012, her character had been teased on Geoff Keighley’s Twitter account. She served as a series regular for Bosch’s inaugural season on Amazon Prime in 2014. Wersching also played the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard’s second season in 2022.

The actress Annie Wersching passed away early on Sunday in Los Angeles after a long battle with cancer. She was best known for her work on the television shows “Star Trek: Picard,” “24,” “Bosch,” and “Timeless.” She was 45 at the time of her demise.

Craig Schneider, Ms. Wersching’s publicist, confirmed her demise. In a statement made public on Sunday, Mr. Schneider cited cancer as the root of the problem. A “Star Trek” spinoff on Paramount+ called “Picard,” as well as the serial killer Rosalind Dyer on the ABC crime series “The Rookie,” were among the roles Ms. Wersching played after receiving her diagnosis in 2020.
